Unidirectional Voltage Switching Diodes
Leave a message
Unidirectional voltage switching diodes, also known as turning diodes, are composed of silicon semiconductor materials with a four layer structure of PnPN. Their forward direction has a negative resistance switching characteristic (meaning that when the applied voltage rises to the forward turning voltage value, the switching diode changes from a cut-off state to a conduction state, that is, from a high resistance to a low resistance), and their reverse direction has a stable characteristic. The bidirectional voltage diode is composed of NPnPN five-layer silicon semiconductor material, which has the same negative resistance switching characteristics in both forward and reverse directions
