Chip resistor size

The commonly used packaging specifications for conventional chip resistors (thin film&thick film&alloy) are generally represented by four or five numerical codes, which are taken from the length and width of the product (English system). Common specifications include 01005, 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210, 2512, and so on. For example, we often refer to "0805", which represents a product with a length of 0.08 inches and a width of 0.05 inches. The common specifications corresponding to metric dimensions can be found in the following figure, Currently, some material tray identifications also use metric dimensions as identification, such as "2012" to indicate the original British "0805" specification. In addition, there is also a type of signal circuit that uses "resistance elimination", which is essentially a combination of multiple commonly used specifications of resistors that are horizontally spliced and packaged. The general description is defined as multiplying the commonly used standard packaging specifications by a number, such as "0603 × four
