1: Application of P-type MOSFET
Generally used for managing the on/off of power supplies, it belongs to a contactless switch, where the gate is fully connected at low levels and completely cut off at high levels. Moreover, the gate can increase the voltage above the power supply, which means that the switch of the 3V power supply can be managed with a 5V signal. This principle is also used for level conversion.
2: Application of n-type MOSFETs
Generally used to manage whether a certain circuit is grounded, it belongs to a contactless switch, and the high level of the gate leads to conduction, resulting in grounding, and the low level cutoff. Of course, the gate can also be cut off with negative voltage, but this benefit is meaningless. Its high level can be higher than the power supply of the controlled part, because the gate is isolated. Therefore, a 5V signal can be used to control whether a certain part of the 3V system is grounded, and this principle is also used for level conversion
